Oh dear. My illusions shattered! I bought my manual 9-5 a few weeks ago and thought it was one of the best purchases I'd ever made. The only gripe I have is the cruise control seems to only work intermittently. Mine certainly could not be called noisy with any stratch of the imagination, and the stereo (Prestige version, 9-speaker) is one of the best fitted as standard I've ever heard.
