If the CD is almost to hot to pick it up, then I'm inclined to say it's rather uncomfortable, especially when you're driving (yea-yea, should have bought the CD-changer, I know) ;-) >> Yes, the inside noise level is ok. >> It's just the outside noises from the cooling fans, > > The Saab electric fan has always bugged me. > My wife today made this remark: "sheesh, what's all that noise and clicking on the outside, when we halt?" I have never ever had _any_ problem with neither one of them, besides maybe the odd and typical Japanese ventilation problems. Granted, most of these Japs are pretty dull and plasticky (except for the 300ZX and the Honda Accord "Seagull Wing"), but at least they were extremely reliable, smooth and - dear I say it? - fast. Now I have this brand new 9.3, and I have a dark feeling I'm heading into a lot of minor and major gripes with it... ...newest problem (since today): the unlock key doesn't work anymore, so I have to unlock the car manually, which of course sets of the alarm when I enter until I insert the key...way cool ! :( >> When my little 5-year old Colt is parked outside in the cold and >> rain for over 2 weeks, I turn the key and that old thing just >> plain starts and revs up without the slightest hesistation. >> Today, my 2 weeks old Saab needed 3 retries before it started; >> which kinda makes me sit up and think whether I made the right choice ? > > Has anyone mentioned the word 'lemon?' Maybe I'm pessimistic, but I'm quite sure this bugger of a car is going to give me a lot of headaches, knowing how 'flexible' car resellers are in 'fixing' this until it's done really right... ...not to mention all the loss of time on my side, driving it to service every 2 weeks or so. -= Guy DD __________________________ Annex Hypermedia Design http://www.annex.be __________________________ And a slice of life http://www.annex.be/life __________________________ New version 6.6 is online !
