My A/C froze up a couple of years ago, and I'm finally getting around to fixing it.. I found out that you can just buy the bearing and replace that. The problem is I can't find anything on how to take apart the Air Conditioner to replace this bearing.. Does anybody know of a web site or book I could buy that explains the A/C in detail?? It's a 1987 Saab 900 Turbo.. I'm guessing I will not have to discharge the system, the Freon should stay in the canister.. Is this correct?
