Subject: Re: CD Player problem fixed - '93 9000

My problem seems to be related. After I start my car (same car, same year), I usually have to press the security code when I start the radio. And once in a while, the CD player crashes: it doesn't play or it keeps on playing, without any reaction on pressing the buttons (this includes the eject button). Usually, these last problems seem to fix themselves when I restart the car. At the saab dealership, they told me that they needed to ship the radio back to Clarion. The radio would loose its memory. And it would cost me about $200. So, if anythging less than $200 would solve these problems, I would be extremely grateful. Fred E.
