No luck at Canadian Tire, I had to go to a shop and get a re-built alternator. The man there said the parts were hard to come by up there and they are expensive! I had to wait for them to re-build one. Don't know compared to BMW, but all foreign car parts are expensive, especially if you stick with genuine parts.
