Subject: Looking for a Shop Manual 85 900 Turbo

I was wondering if someone could point me to a couple of resources. First, I need to find a good shop manual for my 85. I have the Hayes manual, but have been a little disappointed with some of the pictures and I thought I read in the postings about a Bentley (? doesn't sound right but I may be close) manual which may be a bit better. Any idea where I could get my hands on this. Second, I need a good source for new parts and Saab specific tools. Most of the parts I need I pull from a u-pull-it-yourself place near where I live in Baltimore, but something like an APC valve I'm not going to want used from a junk yard. Last, has anyone come across a product called Friction Free 3000. I have a friend who wants me to try it out in my engine cause I had been complaining about by my waning gas mileage. He says it's made by Billstein (not sure if I got the spelling correct, they're in Europe and they make some Mercedes parts as well?). Excerpt from the pamphlet he gave me: "Friction Free 3000 is comprised of soft ductile metals, uniform and spherical in a shape ranging from 5 to 15 microns in size. The specific type, size, shape, and suspension agents are formulated to provide solid boundary lubrication performance even under extreme conditions ... " I guess the idea is that the small ball bearings fill in the pits and grooves in the block to make everything flush again and then the extra act as a lubricant in conjunction with the oil. I know the owners manual says not to use any oil additives, but I wondered whether anyone had come across this stuff before and the kind of results they had gotten if they had. Thanks as always for the info. I really enjoy this group, such good information and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one with a sagging header in the back of my car. Cheers, Jeremy Fennema '85 900 Turbo 131K mi and counting
