Well, concerning the leather.

1. I haven't got that much trouble with it.  If the leather is well
maintained it shouldn't get that warm (and that is from a seat-maker, not
from me).

2. It looks that much better.

I'm still a student too, but if you look out a bit, you can find them rather
cheap.
