Can anyone tell me if the timing chain on an 89 Saab 9000T can be tensioned? I am guessing that the loud noise I hear in my engine is a loose timing chain slapping around. When this would occur on my old 900's, it was a simple matter of removing the valve cover and levering the steel timing chain guide using a 3 foot crowbar. TIA for all replies. Craig
