(1) Yes (2) a) go to a car stereo shop (or your dealer) who will have the tool to pull the head unit out and then plug the DIN connector in b) make your own tool (very easy and very handy) by cutting to 10" sections of wire coat hanger, bend them into a "U" shape, and then insert one into each pair of vertical holes on the head unit. With the tools inserted, stick a couple of fingers in the cassette opening and pull out (some wiggling of the unit or the tools may be required). Have you hooked up the changer in the back? It may be that the cable at the head unit is already connected (it was in my dads '96), so make sure you try the changer out first. Cheers, and enjoy! Scott.
