Warning.......flame: Did I see the questioner ask about older model 9000s? NO. Do I see people who buy Ford Crown Vics rant about their Dad's experience with the Edsel? NO. Keep to the topic, bud. In National Public Radio's owner survey, SAAB 900s from 1995 and 1996 ranked in the top 10 least-cost repaired cars http://cartalk.cars.com/Tools/survey-results-rc-top-bot.pl A British friend chips in above with leasing company data tending to confirm this data. I had a 1979 5dr 900T. Virtually every system on that car failed me at one point or another. Nevertheless. I never had so much fun driving, especially in winter, nor had I ever felt as safe, as unique, as practical when I loaded up the vehicle as I did with my old T. I had owned a Volvo, a Pontiac STE 6000, and an MGB before that and had driven and read about many, many, many other cars. My wife has owned Hondas and a Toyota. When recently comparing all GM cars for a bargain among its sedans, as attractive as the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP was, as mainstream as the Impala 2000 promises to be, I chose the SAAB again because I believe in its design integrity. The SAAB is an engineer's car and a car-lover's car. Most likely, you do not fit into either of those categories. My neighbor has a new A4. The other day, he saw me for the first time running our new 9-3 up the block and could not take his eyes off the new highly-polished, jet-black SAAB. He had owned a Quattro. Why he would ever part with the kind of cash he did for the features he got for the little grey 2Dr is beyond me. Hell; he even owns a Golden Retriever and has two large teenage boys! He must be selfish. Or the rest of the family apparently needs to be content with the Grand Voyageur or whatever it's called. He should have got a 9-5 wagon. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
