Now this is not exactly a SAAB question but I'll ask it anyway. Some turkey scratched the fibreglass wheel arch on my classic 900 with a shopping trolley or whatever. Fortunately all I have to do is unscrew the arch, spray it, and put it back. Nice and easy, no masking, nuttin'. Now, I *suspect* that the 1990 900T cab was sprayed in enamel at the factory. Was this the case? Or were these cars sprayed in acrylic paint? If so, then no worries - I have sprayed several cars in acrylic. But if the factory paintwork is enamel, what's involved? I have the professional sprayguns and air compressor but no way do I have access to an oven. Anyone have any experience? Is it possible to produce a factory-quality result "in my back yard" or should I just not bother and spray the arch in acrylic with clear coat and not worry about it? -- Alcohol and calculus don't mix.
