The plastic wiring harness on the back of the instrument panel decided to burn up yesterday. I have got the panel out and I suspect that the fault was caused by a metal pen I found behind it!, a previous owner must still be wondering where it went! The damage is limited to the tracks on the instrument lighting part. Can you get the harness as a seperate item? If so where in the UK or is it a Saab part only? Are the harnesses "genetric", IE can I use one out of another 900? Should I cut out the burnt stuff and solder in replacement wire instead?
