Subject: Re- water injcion (injection ?)

I have been thinking of this also and have the following plans for my car (87 900 16 valves). It consists of a screen wash pump directing a jet of water via a screen wash jet directly to the intake of the turbo. I am thinking this will cause much atomization of the water and hence will be absorbing the heat of the intake charge. I will trigger the pump via a pressure switch - perhaps a modified over boost switch and alter the delivery of water via resistor control on the pump. Also I will disconnect the fuel boost switch on the throttle as there will be no need for the extra fuel to be doing the cooling. To conclude I will also remove the intercooler as this is being very bad for the airflow and I can now have the good throttle response like my old 83 T8. I would be interested to hear opinions on this idea. Werner
