Hi, I have just bought a 1992 3-door 90016v 5-seed 118,000 miles. Goes and stops ok but the top end is noisy when cold. Is this a sticky Hydraulic tappet? I intend to give the car a full service and run it on synthetic oil, as soon as I get it home. This may cure it(yes/no?). If not is it difficult to replace/repair the offending tappet?
