Soory about the last post, don't know what went wrong. THe timing chain on my 118,000mile 16v needs to be changed, A Saab mechanic stated that it had lasted pretty well, but I had better change it, and the tensioner, before the chain gave up or jumped sprockets. He said that it can be done without taking the engine out of the car, or taking the cylinder head off. Anybody out there done it?, Any hints and or advice greatly appreciated.
