in Atlanta Georgia, and am impressed with the power and handling of the car. Feels great through turns as well as on straights. No turbo lag (glad to see the turbo boost gauge back on the dash!!) and I couldn't discern any torque steer. Feels quite solid and the power is quite remarkable(especially compared to the only 9-5 I had ever driven which was a rental in Miami that was a LPT with an automatic.) While the Viggen seems like raw power that has to be reined in, the Aero seems like a very refined performance sedan. Power band is fairly smooth but the Aero did push me back into the seats in 2nd gear! The new Aero wheels look very sharp as do the ground effects. The only Aero badging is a small chrome badge on the fenders aft of the tires. Speaking of tires, they are 225/45 VR 17...wonder why not ZR like the 9000 Aero? The brakes are not the vented discs like the Viggen but just straight 17 inch discs. The interior is a disappointment: It is a standard 9-5 interior...not near the specialness they put into the Viggen and the 9000 Aero seats are sorely missed. Steering wheel is the sport wheel that is on the Viggen. The leather and wood wheel is an option. Seems like the team with this Aero just forgot about the interior... And unlike the 9000 Aero, the car is not fully tricked out. A spoiler is extra (doesn't look the greatest on a notchback car anyway) and the heated or ventilated seats are also extra. Sticker is $42K with the heated and ventilated seats and no deals this early in the game.
