Forgot to mention the rear end of the car. Never, never use the rear axle as a jacking point, since it is a hollow tube and it may bend when using it to jack up the car. The rear wheel alignment cannot be corrected and it will be nessecary to replace it. In my opinion it is best to use the original jack points and let the trailing arm rest on an axle stand.
