Subject: 9000 2.3 turbo idles erratically and stalls.



Car: 9000 2.3 turbo CD manual, '91, 60000 miles.

Problem: all of a sudden (after parking for 15 minutes) the engine idles
erratically and stalls if  not compensated with the accelerator pedal. The
latter is now caracterised by an increased resistance. On top of this: the
TractionControlSystem-warninglight is flashing.
I can't see anything special when I took a quick look under the bonnet.
Once I testdrove a 2.3t with the same problem: I did not buy it :) never
knew what the problem was.
Is this a serious problem? I would like to know something about it before I
turn to Saab :(
