Subject: Bad clutch master cylinder

Four days ago my clutch pedal started making a creaking/rubbing sound whever I pressed down on it, and I can feel it in the pedal. It got worse thru the weekend but it quieted down a little today. I have also noticed that the sound practically goes away when I shift at around 3000rpm's and it is at it's most annoying at around 2500rpm's or less. I'm thinking clutch master cylinder but I don't see any leaks, the hoses are intact, and the fluid level is ok. What gives? Thanks, Simon. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
