Don't completely discount the possibility of a local shop doing some custom bending for you. It will run a bit more, but there are benefits. I had a 2.75" polished stainless cat-back set up done with a Flowmaster dual chamber for about $350. Not the cheapest, but dropped it off -- picked it up. I love working on my '86 900t\spg conversion, but fighting an exhaust system in and out to save *maybe* a hundred bucks isn't worth it to me. Additionally, if there is a knock, or rattle in the system, it goes back to the one with the proper equipment to get it right. OTOH, I've heard good things about the MSS system and just a few who have installed it have had to struggle with getting it lined up (and I think those were the early systems). For the most part I've heard good things and, IIRC, it runs about $225 or $250. IMHO, at least check with a local shop to price it out.
