Replace that chain!!!! I had the chain go on my beloved '86 9K T with 146,000. I was coming back from vacation and 200 miles from home. The engine just died and that was it. The repairs were quoted at between $2500 and $3000...more than the car was worth in top condition. Please get that thing replaced...it will be a small price compared to junking the car (not to mention getting home from the middle of nowhere on I-95!)
