Subject: Saab CD player question....

Hi, I posted about a wek ago about my 89 900 with the 90 engine in it. Anyway, the repair was not a simple one, but the mechanic who sold it to me fixed everything and it didn't cost me a dime. Good news there. Anyway, I have an '88 Saab 900 8-valave that I used to drive around before someone ran a red light and hit me (another story for another day :-)) Within that older saab, is the CD player that I bought for it in august of '98. I want to take the CD player out of the old saab and put it in my new saab. I plan to have the stereo installed professionaly into the new saab, but my question is this: what is the best way to get the cd player out of my old saab? I had it professionally installed when I bought it so I don't even know how they put it in there. It's a low-end audivox CD/am/fm stereao with a detachable face. Do I need to take the entire dashboard apart? Or can this be accomplished more simply? I hope to hear some feedback. Thanks. -A.F.
