Well, if it's any consolation... if you really don't drive the car hard then chances are you may NEVER have a turbo problem. Some people have problems... some don't. I fully expect problems with mine eventually because I know the previous owner of the car was a performance nut and did stuff to the car to increase performance at the cost of longevity. Of course, I found this out 6 months after I'd bought it! Ack! My A/C compressor's going out too... I can't do a thing with it until the new year though. My Saab may not last much past 100K without some real TLC... but I'm determined to drive it until either it stops or the wheels fall off! I wish you all the best! BTW... did you see any signs of bad head gasket? They might be taking a suggestion as gospel and replacing a head gasket early before it starts being a problem... but it might not be bad yet! -- Gavin Haslett "Ahhhh...
