Although they may look quirky, it's always in the name of utility. My 94 900S alternately looks weird, endearing, beautiful, or bizarre, depending on the angle and my mood. But once I slide behind the wheel, or pop open that cavernous trunk, or navigate the controls by touch alone, I am grateful for the way the designers made their decisions, making beauty a desirable outcome but not the driving force. The 9-5 is good looking enough, but what bothers me most about it is that it really doesn't look Saab-y enough, you know? -Don Flagstaff, Arizona Johannes Andersen wrote: > Saab cars always have always looked quite quirky, unlike most designs. > I still have some reservations about the look of the 9-5, although it > fine modern car.
