Hello I have a question related to air filter on my 97 Saab 900 Turbo. The manual suggests changing it after 35,000 miles; however, clearly the filter is reasonably dirty and in my mind (and my mechanics') needs a replacement, even though I live in Portland, Oregon, not necessarily know to be excessively dusty. The dealer (who I also normally trust) insists that there should be no reason for me to replace the filter before recommended 35,000 interval. The easy way out is to but the filter and to replace it myself; however, would anybody have additional insight into the matter? -- Thanks, -Dima
