Thanks for the great advice. I bought the car this afternoon for $500.00. On closer inspection, the water pump is leaking, the power steering pump is leaking and cyl #3 is not firing. I'm hoping that the non-firing cylinder is a dead plug or wire and not a dead cylinder. The dealer told me that a previous customer thought it was a dead plug. (sounds kinda fishy to me, however I'll swap the plugs this weekend.) On a more positive note however, the dealer wouldn't even fill the air in a slow leak in the rear pass. tire, he said he didn't want to put a cent into it (seemed scared of SAABs). So maybe I'll get lucky with cyl. #3. Thanks again, I guess I'm now part of the club! Michael "John R.
