Subject: Help!!!! 94 9000 Aero dies randomly

I know diagnosing a problem like this is difficult enough with the car physically present let alone over the internet but this is driving me nuts! About a month ago I was leaving work, had driven about a mile and the car died. At the time I was going about 30 mph and it was if someone had just flipped a giant switch and shut the car off. Nothing else changed other than the tach reading Zero! Car still turned over, etc. After sitting there blocking traffic for 10-15 minutes, aforementioned giant switch must have turned on and the car started right up again. Fast forward to last week and leaving for work, I had gone about half a mile and it did it again...wait 10-15 minutes and it starts. Later that day while the car was idling, I noticed it started miss briefly then the motor raced to about 3000 rpm's. I tapped the throttle and it returned to normal. I of course have no idea if this was related to my original problem or not but I thought I would mention it. Any ideas as to my problem would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Jim
