If you mean after a certain amount of time it goes off recirc... well that's a damn nice design IMHO. I once had a Ford Probe (1990)... it was a nice little car... good performer and well built. I didn't have it long unfortunately, but that's another story. Anyway, I once started driving home from work... after about 10 minutes I started to feel a little ill and light-headed. I eventually stopped just South of Oklahoma City by the side of the road (where I was living at the time), got out and walked around a bit... feeling a lot better after about another five minutes. Anyway, got back in the car and got on the turnpike to get home... after about 10 minutes started feeling bad again... at first thought I was coming down with something. Then something possessed me to look down at the climate controls. The controls were set to recirculate... and seeing as it was standard rotary mechanical controls instead of an ACC it wouldn't shut off from recirc... EVER. Switched it back to let fresh air in and voila... after about another 10 minutes of driving I felt right as rain. I was suffocating inside the car. Not sure if this is a design feature or not... but ever since that I've been wary of recircs that don't release after 10 minutes or so... there really isn't that much air volume inside your average automobile... you can run out of oxygen quicker than you might think! -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com http://www.geocities.com/thumper_svx "Ahhhh...
