Subject: Poor poor pitiful me



My wife complained of a terrible odor as she got
off the highway- smelled a bit like brakes- nope
wheels turn freely- look under the hood- little
charred bits of rubber? Did those used to be the
covers for the A/C compressor clutch bolts?-
Ohmygawd the A/C hasn't been working- Did the
freon leak out and this burned up the compressor?
Any experience/ideas/good source for new one?
