I have 84 T16 to which I fitted rear anti-roll bar (which you must have) and then found that you just didn't need the front one. The car actually handles better than ones with s supension anyway. The front bar tends to make the car understeer too much, without it you get much better turn in to corners but slighlty worse stability at speed and in cross winds (I mean here when really pushing the car hard). BTW I also have koni adjustable dampers and slighlty lower sport springs. The next step is to put some spacers into the top wishbone to give me some nice camber. Then when the 205-55 tires die I will fit 50 pro ones. The car already out handles golfs and pug 205's but you can always have a bit more I think! Neil.
