Hello I have a '86 900 with some cold start problems when it is cold weather ( 0 degrees and lower). It is cold in Norway in the winter !! The engine always start at the first try, but it also stops again almost immediately. On second try it starts again and keeps running, but as soon as i tries to push the throttle it dies again. If I wait about one minute before I try using the throttle again it is no problem. Also when the engine is cold it does not run properly under 2500 RPM, it feels like half-dead. With warm engine it runs like dream. If anyone has tried to start a motorbike in really cold weather without using the choke, they knows my problem. I have tried to change the rotor arm, distributor cap, HT leads, spark plugs and the fuel filter. The battery and the generator is tested ok (charging 14.3V with all lights on) The engine has the CIS fuel injection system. Anyone who has any good suggestions, or has experienced similar problems ?? Thanks morten
