Subject: Scary steering problem



Hi all,

on two occasions coming to work this morning the steering 'stuck'.  Both
occasions were on sharp right-hand turns at moderate speed.  At the
point of greatest turn the steering wheel stuck and had to be forceably
turned back to straighten up the car.  Otherwise the steering has been
fine.  I have a 1985 900i.  Any ideas what the problem is?
