Yes, I find the new "blue" headlights to be offensive - just too bright for city operation. As for your first question......Take it from a former trucker (Me) that for fog conditions, you do NOT want your high beams on in fog. All it does is illuminate the fog directly in front of the car. Fog lights should be as close to the ground as possible. That way, your line of sight and the light beams have more separation. -- The original point and click interface was a Smith & Wesson.
