Appreciate the comments, especially from the persistent Doug. I was able to find Dunlop (P2000, I believe, but maybe I misremember the style name) for $57 ea., out the door. It is a bit above the budget I'd set, but nevertheless reasonable for a far better tire than I'd considered. I may be getting another of these damned socialist cars for my son. They sure are fun. Though I didn't much like replacing the pinion output shaft bearings on my daughter's car at about this time last year, in an unheated, open bay. Cheers/Carron
