Subject: "Fasten seat belt" dashboard light



This light has recently become faulty on my 1993 900SE (classic shape).

It shows the red 'Fasten seat belt' display when I am the only occupant of
the car and have fastened the drivers seat belt.

If I fasten the passenger seat belt it goes out, I guess that there is a
sensor somewhere that triggers this display.

Does anyone know how this mechanism works and if it is simple to fix it
myself.
