Hi,all I am no expert, I can only rely on my own experience. It is typical for a blown head gasket that water and oil channels can be interconnected, but cross contamination is not easy to spot unless it is really bad. It is possible that it is the valve cover gasket, but the head gasket seem a more likely cause because it is under higher thermal and pressure stresses. Johannes >
