<Snip> Jeremy, Boy I wish people would just give me a car now and then! Especially a Turbo, but Anyway you need to do all the usual checks. Usually it an electrical problem with the ignition so: Check all the wiring for obvious stuff. and the fuses and relays in the fuse box. Take out a spark plug and get somebody to crank the car over - spark? If No then you need to check wiring to coil, plug leads, plugs, distributor cap and rotor arm. Are the plugs "wet" with petrol? If Yes then at least you know fuel is getting to the engine. Check the ignition module (amplifier) that is bolted to the inner wing, this small black box is mounted on a heat sink and can fail. No real checks here except to replace, which can be expensive so do the other stuff first. If you are getting a spark it could be due to the fuel system so. When you turn the ignition on, but not turn the engine over do you hear the fuel pump start up for a couple of seconds? If not check the fuse and relays. What you need to do next really depends on the type of fuel injection you have on your car, which varies from country to country. If the above doesn't work e-mail me and I'll think of all the other stuff that needs doing. Good Luck Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
