Subject: Re: Where the hell is the wiring splice located for the rear brake lights on a 90M 900T Cab??

<Snip> Not exactly sure about soft-top saabs but I doubt if things are that different. I had a similar problem with my 1991 3-door and traced the problem to joints in the wiring under - your right - the rear seat! In mine there is an additional fuse/relay box under the seat. Under that the wiring bundle has spliced joints etc, some of which had partly corroded so a multimeter would show an ok circuit, but the amps wouldn't go through! Seeems that it had got damp under there at some point. THe problem was with the interior lights. Another place I discovered another bunch of connectors was in the rear side panels in the boot where the wiring splits to go to the tailgate as well as the regular rear brake lights. Had taken the trim off while tracing the problem. Hope this helps Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
