nah, dont even think about taking the blower out until the brushes go bad, i just did a blower - heater core job ( ALWAYS do both).... it takes about 8 - 12 hours and is a real bitch. I'm not sure what it is, but there is a built in fault diagnosis system that is activated by pressing (i think) two of the control buttons simultaniously (help me here guys) like the top and bottom ones hell i cant remember which ones they are, call a saab dealer and they'll tell you how and what the flashing codes mean. sorry not more help > Hello, > > My 1988 9000i (no A/C) blower will only operate on maximum power. > > Looking at the wiring schematic, this problem looks to be caused by a > faulty resitor pack. > > My problem is now :- "Where is the blower resitor pack?" > > I've looked close to the switch by removing the glove box interior but > found nothing. > > I've look under the bonnet and around the blower, but not found > anything either. > > Now I'm assuming that I will have to remove the blower itself (?) to > get at the pack. > > Can anyone tell me where to find this part and how to get access to it > please? > > Many Thanks, > > Jeff > > > * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * > The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free! >
