Insurance is not fun if you own a Saab in an area which has high rates. I did not see where you live, but I live next to Fenway Park in Boston and my 1997 900SE now costs me $1800.00/year with a safe driver credit of $500.00...meaning if I get a ticket my insurance would be $2300.00. I am moving to Vermont in a few weeks and my insurance will now be about $700.00/year... There isnot much you can do if you live in one of these high rate areas. You can ask your agent to take your collision coverage off, which might save you a few bucks, but if you have an accident you will be paying to get your car fixed onyour own.
