Subject: Re: Oil Pressure Light

Get it checked right away! Put a direct-reading oil guage into your engine and make SURE it is an indication problem. I ordered factory guages for my '87 9000T 'cuz I HATE idiot lights, and my oil pressure varies between 20 PSI at idle, engine hot, to 70 PSI, hot or cold, at normal RPMs. I can actually see it on the guage when I'm due for an oil and filter change, as I lose about 5 PSI or so of pressure. No oil pressure, dead engine. Brian wrote: > I have a 1987 Saab 9000 Turbo with a oil pressure light that has been > going on lately. It goes on and blinks under hard acceleration.
