Hello, I am in the UK and own a manual 1993 900SE 16v (last of classic shape) with 127,000 miles on the clock. The car produces a very excessive amount of exhaust emissions from cold, particularly in this cold winter weather. I know that some should be expected from cold but I get large clouds of it extending back the length of the car and beyond. I can still see them in the rear view mirror until I've travelled a good few miles and the car has warmed up. I originally identified a problem with loss of coolant but this has been rectified with a replacement radiator and the car tested and confirmed that there is now now leak in the coolant system. I have my M.O.T. test due in a short time and fear that the car will fail the emissions test due to this problem, even it it passes the test I would still like it resolved as it is, quite frankly, a bit embarassing. Has anyone else had a similar experience of know of the cause of this problem ?. Many thanks, Matthew.
