Subject: Switched power in trunk?

After complaining for years about my ('88 900SPG) SAAB (Clarion) radio's weak front end I have finally gotten off my butt and built a broadband amplifier for it. The easiest place to install the amp would be alongside the power antenna in the rear fender. My problem is that I haven't been able to find a source of switched power in the trunk area. The best I can do at the moment is to tap off the running lights - which would require me to turn on the lights whenever I wanted to listen to the radio. Any ideas/suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Tom
