Subject: Re: Saab 9-5 or Volvo S80 ?

Most of what you have to say is just opinion and nothing is substantiated by fact. You have been brainwashed by your love of Saab automobiles. Volvo is always a better choice as compared to Saab. What company invented the device that has saved more lives then any in the world, the 3-Point seat belt. No it was not Saab, it was Volvo. Great cup-holders don't make a great car, even though the Volvo S80 has 8 of them. The Porsche designed family of inline engines that Volvo uses are extreamly smooth and reliable. A production S80 T6, S70R, V70R AWD, 850R, or an 850 T5-R will all easily crush any production Saab. I agree that Saabs are safe cars, but so are Mercedes. Volvo's are in a league of their own in terms of safety reputation. This is an old argument on this board and Volvo wins every time. When I pass a Saab on the road, I feel pity for the person who owns the car. Including Volvo, there are many other choices that are far better. Not for a connoisseurlike the Saab driver. When you look at the details of a Saab you know what Imean. For example the great design of the cup-holder in the dash of the 9-5and it's powerfull smooth turbo-engines. Or the ergonomicdoor-handles of the Saab. And of cours it's huge safety, safety of which aVolvo only can dream. When I drive a Saab and I pass a Volvo, I always smileand pity the poor man who has made just another wrong choice in his life. Ihope that this is of some help to you! My message; Keep away from Volvo'sbecause underneath their new rounded skin there's still that edgyold-fashioned monster of the old days!!!! > Jeroen Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
