Another thing that I thought I'd pass along. The lights which illuminate the tach and speedometer in my '88 900 Turbo burned out. The dealer and an auto body shop both told me that the whole dash had to be disassembled to reach the lights. Fortunately, a fellow on a Saab enthusiast web page told me that the grille on top of the dashboard could be removed and the lights accessed easily from there. He was correct. It is an easy fix, but be careful when replacing the tube that brings air to the defrosters.
