I'm wondering if there is anyone who has > actually done so. I have a 2000 9-5 wagon, and I've put only 87 into it. I live in a hilly part of New Hampshire, and I go up some very steep hills on my daily commute. Hills steep enough that they would not allow the roads on them to be built today. My 9-5 absolutely shoots up these hills, and I have yet to hear a knock or ping. And I am very sensitive to any noises from my car. I have no idea what would happen with 89 or 93 octane, and I have no interest in finding out. 87 is expensive enough right now. --THC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tom Cormen Voice: (603) 646-2417 Associate Professor Fax: (603) 646-1672 Dept. of Computer Science Email: thcnopsamartmouth.edu Dartmouth College URL: http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~thc/ 6211 Sudikoff Laboratory Hanover, NH 03755-3510 ------------------------------------------------------------------------
