I have a 91 900S convertible in excellent shape except that the hood paint is dull and no matter what polish/compound used, looks looks like crap unless it is wet. Then it looks almost new. I want to get it repainted but would like opinions on the difference between oven baked, heated spray booth etc.. Should it be finished with a clear coat (s)? Just the hood or the whole car?
