Subject: Need A Strange Tool to Fix Brakes

I am having my brakes fixed on my 87 Saab 900S. The front brakes just need pads. The mechanic (not a Saab specialist as there are none in my area) says he got the pads but can't find the tool that screws the piston into the caliper. He says it has two notches about 7/8 inches apart at the centers. He's tried Snap on, NAPA, etc with no results. So it is just sitting there! Can anyone shed some light on how this is done or what tool it takes? I have a Hayes manual but am not a motorhead at all and know very little about repairs. I have only had this car for about three weeks and knew I would have to replace the brakes. I bought it for my son and he is itching to start driving it but I want to get the brakes fixed before the rotors are messed up. Thanks, Jim LeMaster
