You can reset the SID to it's absolute defaults by pulling it out of the
dash (just prise gently on either side of it and it'll pop right out - no
removal tool needed), and disconnect the cable....wait a few minutes and
reconnect it.
You'll notice that all the settings will be 'zeroed' - and it'll take about
30 or 40 miles for the average MPG to become accurate.
