Couple of quick questions to the SAAB connoisseurs out there, I am the proud owner of a beautiful 88 9KT, in my quest to get it to a near pristine condition, I've hit the brick wall a couple of times. There is an annoying resonating sound that seems to be coming from right below the gear shift lever when the car downshifts from 2nd to 3rd. It is sort of a clankering noise and can also be heard under heavy acceleration. ( The last time I heard something similar to that sound was on my ex-girlfriends 1990 olds 88, under similar conditions). I got the transmission serviced yesterday and it still has not solved the problem. I have also gotten a new transmission mount, upper engine mounts, and the lower front hydraulic mount changed. So the only mount in dire need of replacing is the lower back hydraulic mount. Any Ideas?? Another thing that has gotten under my skin is the lack of Seat heaters. My heated seat quit on me when I really needed it last month. I checked the fuse, and it's fine. Could it be a burnt or broken element?? Any economical way to fix this problem?? Ha Ha!! Thanks for your time, In advance. D ________________________________________________________________________________ DEBRAJ GUPTA -MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY- P.O.
